Connecticut Early Learning and Development Standards

Our preschool curriculum is based on the Connecticut Early Learning and Development Standards. Connecticut Early Learning and Development Standards were developed to help families, communities and schools work together to support children’s early learning and growth. The Connecticut Early Learning and Development Standards are organized by domain. There are eight domains in the document:

  • Social and Emotional Development
  • Physical Health and Development
  • Language and Literacy
  • Creative Arts
  • Mathematics
  • Science
  • Cognition
  • Social Studies

Our preschool staff provide daily learning experiences that include the above listed domains.
